Monomeris Chemicals inaugurates its new premises in Avelin

19 May 2025

On May 21st from 11am, Monomeris Chemicals will be holding an open day at its premises in Avelin (59). This is an opportunity to highlight an innovative technology at the service of the environment.

Monomeris Chemicals is developing an advanced chemical recycling technology capable of transforming plastic waste – often non-recyclable – into monomers. These raw materials can then be used to produce new, virgin-grade plastics, pharmaceuticals, textiles, etc.

Today, less than 10% of the world’s plastics are recycled. The rest ends up buried, incinerated or in the environment. In response to this urgent need, Monomeris Chemicals’ technology makes it possible to:

  • Recycle plastics currently considered non-recyclable
  • Reduce the use of fossil fuels
  • limit CO₂ emissions linked to the production of new plastic
  • To anchor the chemical industry in a true circular economy.

Monomeris Chemicals is thus committed to transforming the linear “produce-consume-dispose” model into a circular and sustainable model that benefits the environment and future generations.
