Our solutions

Production of monomers

We can produce the following monomers from recycling and our patented technology

Ethylene

The most widely used monomer in the world, with the formula C2H4, it forms the basis of the most widely manufactured polymer: polyethylene. It is also a precursor of many chemical compounds. It's the compound we produce most regularly from a wide range of plastic resins, notably polyolefins.

Propylene

The second most widely used monomer in the world, with the formula C3H6, it is used to manufacture polypropylene and other chemical compounds. It's a monomer we produce mainly from polyolefins.

Butenes

Produced as a generally minority fraction, we can produce the different C4s (1-Butene, 2-Butenes, isobutene, butadiene) depending on the resin blends to be processed, including elastomers which favor their production. They are used in the manufacture of a wide range of polymers and chemical compounds.

Styrene

A specific aromatic compound, it is used, for example, in the production of polystyrene, ABS, SAN and BS resins. We produce it almost exclusively via depolymerization of styrenic polymers.

Halogenated compounds

From chlorinated wastes, notably PVC, and with the help of more specific catalysts, we can direct the production of halogenated compounds, potentially including vinyl chloride and dichloroethane.

Our solutions

Production of chemical intermediates

Depending on your needs, we can orient our production units to also produce the following compounds:

Nitrogen derivatives

Conventional monomers and nitrogen derivatives (amines, hydrogen cyanide, acrylonitrile) can be produced from mainly polyamide (PA, PPA, etc.) or acrylonitrile-based waste products.

BTEX

These compounds are regularly generated from aromatic resins (PET, PBT, PC, PEEK, PSU...) and can be more easily separated from light monomers by condensation.

COV

Depending on the process conditions and also from woody and cellulosic waste, our units can be optimized to produce certain oxygenated compounds, in particular aldehydes and ketones of low molar mass.

Hydrogen

Depending on the waste mixtures processed, a hydrogen fraction may be generated and separated from the monomers and chemical intermediates. Sometimes generated in the form of Syngas (CO / H2 mixture), hydrogen production generally represents a small fraction and can influence the other compounds resulting from depolymerization.

Secondary gases

In addition to the other chemical compounds generated, and depending on the waste mix, some recoverable residual gases may be produced, such as ammonia (NH3), hydrochloric acid (HCl), hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and methane (CH4).
